All my guitars are inspired by nature. Coastlines, countryside, hilltops and particularly the sea.
There's so much about the sea which resonates with how I hear and play music; the sounds,
the movement and the visceral experience. Everyday the water looks different, changing mood from dark and brooding to sparkling silver or jubilent turquoise.
After seeing a dolphin playing about in Prestwick Bay, I came up with my new range: the "Deilf", which is Gaelic for dolphin.
Like the dolphin simply revelling in the experience of being alive and having fun, from the moment you pick up the Deilf and start to play, it's a fun experience. This particular guitar evokes surf music, shimmering chords and warm, bluesy leads echoing across the ocean. Set up with a floating tremolo to express a gentle vibrato.
Your own custom made guitar can bring out the music within that sings to you
to voice your personal inspiration.
The sound experience is matched by the feel and look of the guitar. An ash body with Nitrocellulose lacquer finish and beautiful vintage colours feels soft and warm enhances the character of the wood as your skin glides across it.
This model is available in a range of colours.
