My bespoke guitar package is hands down the most popular service I offer and attracts clients throughout Scotland and the UK. If you've never considered having a guitar made to your exact needs, you may be wondering whether it's worth it. After all, it's not only a financial investment, It involves a commitment from you in terms of creativity, emotional investment and time. And that's partly why having a bespoke guitar made is absolutely worth it. It's a reflection of you, your values and your preferences. Whilst I'll be the one bringing all my technical expertise, attention to detail and craftsmanship to creating the guitar, you'll be the person behind that creation. So, here are another few reasons why you need that bespoke guitar in your collection.

1) Quality

I source out the best quality materials for your guitar and, when it comes to quality, the sky's the limit. You can choose pickups and hardware of your choice, and I'll be on hand with advice about how to turn your vision into reality when it comes to which products are going to give you the sound you're looking for. Throughout the process, you're ensured top quality craftsmanship, combining cutting edge technology with artisan values.

2) Uniqueness

Absolutely nobody else will have the same guitar as you. Your guitar will be a one of a kind and a reflection of your personality and playing style.

3) Meets your needs

We've all got our preferences and this is your opportunity to design a guitar which looks, sounds and plays exactly as you want. I've never heard of anyone selling a custom made guitar. Why? Because it's the only guitar they really need (that's not to say there aren't other guitars they want...). When you've designed a custom guitar for your needs, you're not going to get bored of it, or grow out of it, or fancy something better. This is you.

4) Involvement in the process

You might have a rough idea of what your perfect guitar is, but because you're involved in the process, from start to finish, you can be involved in the development and progression of your guitar as you watch it take shape.

5) Heirloom

Your guitar will last you for life. This is a true investment, which is only going to grow in value - emotional and financial. True quality and craftsmanship doesn't go out of fashion.

The first step in designing your bespoke guitar is getting in touch with me for a consultation to discuss what you're looking for. At this stage, we can have a chat about design, hardware preferences and how you want the guitar to play. Once you've commissioned a project, I'll keep in regular touch with updates. Near to the completion stage, I'll invite you to come and play your nearly completed guitar. When the big day comes (have you got a special birthday/ anniversary coming up?) you can come and roadtest your guitar before taking it home with you. My after sales package includes checking in with you after a couple of weeks to make sure your guitar is playing exactly as you want and two free set ups. And, of course, I'll be on hand if you need any tweaks, additions or advice.
